Jeff Horwitt

Jeff Horwitt is a senior analyst at Hart Research. He has worked on a variety of projects including research for NBC News and The Wall Street Journal, the Office of the Governor of Puerto Rico, the Leon and Sylvia Panetta Institute for Public Policy, and the firm’s extensive research on housing issues for Fannie Mae, the Fannie Mae Foundation, and Homes for Working Families.

Jeff also has worked on projects for political campaigns as well as for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), and America Coming Together (ACT).

Jeff has worked at Hart Research since 2000. Formerly, he served as an assistant to Peter Hart working on Mr. Hart’s speeches as well as projects for a variety of nonprofit organizations, corporations, political candidates, and media organizations. In addition he assisted Mr. Hart in Election Night coverage for NBC News in 2000, 2002, and 2004.

Jeff graduated from Northwestern University’s School of Speech in June 2000, after completing an honors thesis comparing the civil rights policies of Presidents Nixon and Clinton.
