Staff BiosMaeve Hebert is a vice president with Hart Research. In that capacity, she conducts qualitative and quantitative research projects for a variety of nonprofit organizations, corporations, political candidates, media organizations, and educational institutions. Ms. Hebert is one of the firm’s experts in statistical analysis and in focus group moderation. She has been with Hart Research for eight years. During her tenure, Ms Hebert has completed projects on behalf of numerous clients, including the BlueCross BlueShield Association, the Library of Congress, US Magazine, Rolling Stone Magazine, the Horatio Alger Association, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and the Department of Defense, as well as several congressional and municipal political candidates. Ms. Hebert also has developed an expertise in energy-related public opinion research, and she has conducted polling for four electric utilities. Articles about Ms. Hebert’s work with Hart Research have appeared in The New York Times, USA Today, and The Washington Post. Ms. Hebert has authored a column on public opinion polling in Public Perspectives magazine, and recently published an article comparing American and Arab media coverage of the Iraq war in the Harvard Journal of Press and Politics. She also has appeared on CSPAN’s Washington Journal discussing attitudes among America’s high school students. Ms. Hebert graduated magna cum laude from the American University in the fall of 1999, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and communication. She earned her master’s degree in media and public affairs from the George Washington University in 2004.
